Outages were being reported in:
- Guilford: 140;

- Salisbury: 57;
- Sharon: 17;
- Stamford: 15;
- Greenwich: 12;

There were fewer than three outages in Darien, Groton, Newtown, Ridgefield, Southbury, Torrington, Washington, and Waterbury.
The storm began with rain throughout the region on Thursday, Feb. 3 before turning into a wintry mix overnight.
Officials said that ice accumulations in many areas caused tree limbs to break and fall onto power lines, and that freezing rain and snow in the forecast, the most heavily impacted areas are expected to extend through the weekend.
